Kintsugi is a striking and unique mural by Muance that presents a face emerging from stone, rendered in a cube geometric style. The artwork is characterised by its neutral tones, which enhance the sense of solidity and timelessness. The face, subtly visible within the geometric forms, evokes a sense of mystery and introspection, inviting viewers to contemplate its presence.
The mural’s design is a testament to its name, Kintsugi, which refers to the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, thereby embracing flaws and imperfections as part of the object’s history and beauty. Similarly, this mural celebrates the concept of transformation and resilience, where the emergence of the face from the stone suggests a narrative of strength and renewal.
Available in two mural formats: Standard Mural and Custom Size. The standard mural measures 500 × 270 cm and is supplied in 10 panels, each 50 cm wide. The Custom Size option can be made to suit the dimensions of your wall. We recommend ordering a sample before purchase.
